On Friday, March 7th, RHS Playhouse competed in the THSSDL DISTRICT II One Act Play and
Interpreters Theatre Competition in Dickson, TN at the Renaissance Center. The RHS One Act Play,
Mark Twain's "The Diaries of Adam and Eve" won first place. This play was directed by theatre teacher
LuEllyn Boyer Wilcox and Senior Director Scott Puckett. Emily Wilcox served as Stage Manager.
Hugh Poland won Best Actor in the district and Reid Edington won Best Actress. The Beauty Game, RHS'S Intrepreter's Theatre entry also won 1st place. It was directed by senior Anna Shackelford and Briar Moroshak who also played a part in the piece along with Lydia Miller, Abby Trageser, Lauren Davis, and Laurel Peek. These students will all advance to State Competition in April.
