The Rossview Instrumental Music Department, headed by Mr. Tom
Tapscott, presented the annual band awards at a rainy-day picnic in
the school cafeteria Saturday afternoon. (A huge thanks to the Band
Boosters who arranged the picnice - great job!) The band historians
presented three scrapbooks picturing the events of the year, in
spectacular fasion! Mr. Tapscott reviewed the year's accomplishments,
including a best overall trophy from the festival in New Orleans.
Congratulations to all individual winners! The event included a
"cool" ending, with band members' inner children emerging, for a
