5/28/04

At Rossview High School's 3rd Commencement, 237 seniors were honored at APSU's Dunn Center at 4:00 P.M. The graduation ceremony featured the National Anthem, sung by senior Megan Stumpf, the opening by Senior Class Vice-President Fran Gentry, a greeting by Senior Class President Shelby Coates, a short speech by Principal Frank Myers, the Alma Mater sung by senior Danielle Caruthers, and a song by RHS combined choirs "For Just a Little While". German exchange students Hauke Gruen and Diana Hasanovic were recognized for their valuable contributions to RHS this year. Valedictorian Tara Daniel urged the seniors to thank those who had helped them along the way, and Salutatorian Jennifer Ryan prompted students to sail toward a positive purpose in life. Dr. Sandra Husk accepted the class of 2004, and faculty representative Michael Gibson read aloud the graduates' names. Senior Class Secretary Holly Routledge closed the program.
