In a school-wide assembly, around 100 students were honored for
their academic achievements in various classes this year.
Departmental awards for Art, Business, Communications, English,
Family and Consumer Science, Foreign Language, Health Occupations,
Journalism (Yearbook), JROTC, Mathematics, Psychology, Residential
Construction, Science, Vocal Music, and Wellness were presented by
faculty to students who have excelled in each area. Other awards
presented included participation in the Black History Trivia Team,
Chosen, and First Priority clubs. Franzi Seidel was recognized as
RHS's foreign exchange student by Principal Frank Myers, and given an
RHS paperweight as a memento of her year here. Kevin Kennedy was
awarded the Herff Jones Leadership Award. Finally, students selected
for this year's Youth Leadership Clarksville class were recognized.
