S SPI 2.1 Students will sketch the graphs of basic functions. Graph equations by plotting points and using graphing utility. 1/2 Day ~ 1.2 p. 19-20 #1-13 odd #19-29 odd
S SPI 2.4 Determine if a function is even, odd, or neither. Test an equation for symmetry with respect to x-axis, y-axis and the origin. 1 Day ~ 1.3 p. 30-32 #11-68 (4ths)
S SPI 1.4 Apply equations and graphs of conic sections to model real-world phenomena. LE 1.1 Select and use appropriate algebraic functions to model real-world situations. Write the standard form of the equation of a circle. Graph the circle and find its radius and center.
P Pre-requisite from previous courses. Solve equations using a graphing utility. 2 Days ~ 1.4 p. 43-44 #1-114 (5ths)
P Pre-requisite from previous courses. Solve linear, quadratic, absolute value, and radical equations.
S SPI 2.5 Use an appropriate technology to solve inequalities. Solve linear, compound and absolute value inequalities algebraically as well as graphically using interval notation. 1 Day ~ 1.5 p. 56-57 #13-28 (3rds) #43-92 (4ths)
P Pre-requisite from previous courses. Identify key characteristics of lines given their equation. 1 Day ~ 1.6 p. 71-73 #1-88 (5ths)
P Pre-requisite from previous courses. Write equations given key characteristics.
    Chapter Review 1 Day ~ 1.7 p. 77-78  #1-80 (5ths)
This chapter could take up to 8 days. It could be treated as an independent review focusing on 1.4. For now I will take 6 days for the material, 1 day for a review, and 1 day for the test.
