The Star Lab Planetarium  2003

A planetarium is a method to bring the night sky into the classroom.Star Lab does that with a unique projector system and an inflatable dome. The projector will display the Sun, the Moon, the bright planets and several thousand stars in their correct positions. The projector can be made to move to simulate the daily motion of the Earth on its axis. Separate cylinders contain many adventures. The inflatable dome is approximately 20 feet in diameter and is held up by air pushed into the dome by a small fan. The dome will seat about 20 adults or 25 children - depending on the squirminess! – for a show. A show can last from 20 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the age of the group. Seating is on the floor around the inside edge of the dome.
