Seven Rossview students went to the National JCL Convention in Atlanta, Georgia and five of them were in the top 15 on an academic test (top 5 get ribbons, top 10 get certificates). These are how they placed in the COUNTRY among those in the same level of Latin as them. Here are our winners:

Vicky Huynh 9th in 400 meter for Olympika


Ben played on the state's Latin I quiz bowl team, which made it to the semifinals. Ian played on the Latin II team, which also fell in the semifinals.

Congratulations to all and especially to those that spent their summer time going to the library up to 3 days a week for 6 hours a day to prepare.

In addition to our ribbons and certificates, we also brought home, the schearer stick. It was won in honor of Grady Warren, a legendary Latin teacher and coach.
