Over 153,000 students from the US and around the world participated in the National Latin Exam. Students are rewarded based on their performance against the (inter)national average for their level of Latin. Tying or beating the average by a little earns them a Cum Laude certificate; beating it by a bit earns them a Magna Cum Laude certificate, beating it by quite a bit earns a Silver Medal, and beating it by a lot earns a Gold Medal. You can see our winners’ scores and compare them to the national average. 30 of our 44 students who took the test this year beat/tied the average!
Congratulations to these students for all the hard work and time spent in preparing for these competitions. Rossview did very well in the State Competition showing that we are some of the best in Tennessee.
