Over 300 upcoming freshmen visited the RHS campus for a taste of
high school life. The RHS Band greeted them with the RHS Fight Song
and a few other rousing tunes. They were introduced to the
administrators, who gave them briefings on athletic opportunities and
a dress code fasion show ;). Mrs. Carolyn Ferrell presented them with
information on the ASG (Associated Student Government) election
opportunties in the fall. Mrs. Taylor invited them for a sneak peek
at the library for summer hours (Fridays, 9 A.M. until 12:00 noon).
The JROTC presented activities that new students could participate
in, Mrs. Beach's RTV crew presented a welcome video and an episode of
"Exit 8" and an invitation to take Communication Arts, drama students
presented an excerpt of the award-winning drama "Puberty: The Game
Show", the choir took us to "Margaritaville", and the cheerleaders
got them on their feet with cheers of "Let's Go Big Red"! Welcome
