The county-wide program to honor CMCSS's brightest students was
held Friday night at RHS, with dinner at 6 P.M. and the program
following thereafter. Over 400 students from all 6 high schools were
recognized for their academic achievement (a 93 average with no grade
lower than an 85 for the previous year). Dr. Sandra Husk, Director of
Schools, sent her best wishes to the students and parents through a
videotaped recording. Dr. Sherry Hoppe, APSU President, was the guest
speaker and encouraged students to always follow their dreams.
