The Rossview Band Association, Inc.
has established a scholarship in honor of one of the band's
founding members.
Contributions can be sent to the
Association at P.O. Box 30535, Clarksville, TN
37040.
Additional funds will be raised
through admission to the annual December concert.
The Gateway Music Association,
comprised of area band directors, music teachers and
supporters of Music Education, has commissioned a memorial
composition for the 2005 All-County Senior High Honors
Band.
Dr. Greg Danner of Tennessee Tech
has been chosen for the project. Joey had enrolled for the
Fall 2004 semester and would have been a member of the Jazz
Ensemble.
In an unexpected twist of events,
it was discovered that Mike Ansberry (Joey's father) and Dr.
Danner were once classmates.
