As the year comes to an end, many talented RHS students are
receiving awards and scholarships. The Chamber of Commerce is
sponsoring the Excel program next Thursday, April 14 at 1:30 P.M., to
honor students who earned all A's (gold award), A's and B's (silver
award), or made exemplary progress (blue award). RHS's departmental
awards will be presented in an assembly on May 5 during the day with
the entire student body, and seniors will be recognized for winning
scholarships and school awards at a special Awards Night on Tuesday,
May 10 at 7 P.M. The public is invited to attend. For example, senior
John Gannon recently won a Trustee's Scholarship to USC, based on his
academic and wrestling achievements. Congratulations to all these
gifted students!
