On a rainy, blustery fall day (Saturday), the band participated
in the final competition for its 2004 marching season at Glencliffe
High School in Nashville, Tennessee. Earning second place in their
class and a superior score in band, percussion, and field commanders,
it was a great (if very wet) end to a great show (Crimestoppers).
Field Commanders Catarina Giamonna and Molly Ellis were awarded "Best
in Class" for the Gold Division (way to go, ladies!!). A big thanks
from director Tom Tapscott and assistant director Ellen Taylor goes
to the faithful band boosters, who hauled, organized, lugged, put
away, and got out all the equipment through practices, games, and
competitions - the "RHS Correctional Officers" will live long in the
