For the first time in RHS's history, Mr. Tom Tapscott, RHS
Instrumental Music Director, attempted an outdoor concert to end the
year and his tenure at RHS. The String Ensemble managed to play their
fiddle selections, with thunder accompanying them to the lively
fiddle tunes. However, the clouds rolled in and the exodus indoors
began, before the skies rained forth! The combined Concert and
Symphonic Bands finally played a beautiful program in the theater,
with selections from Phantom and Chicago especially
popular. Mr. Tapscott was surprised with an encore performance of
"Auld Lang Syne", directed by Band Dad Gone Bad, Maestro
Roberson. Best wishes to Mr. Tapscott back in Eagle country!
