The String Ensemble, Concert Band, and Symphonic Bands presented
a program of festive, stirring music to memorialize the life of
former band member, Joey Ansberry (Class of 2004). The String
Ensemble accompanied ensemble vocalist Lisa MacAfee in a special song
from Les Miserables, "Bring Him Home". The Symphonic Band was joined
by special guests (alumni band members and area musicians) to perform
the Stephen Melillo composition "A Sending". Proceeds totalling over
$1800 were donated to the Joey Ansberry Memorial Scholarship fund,
which will benefit RHS band students pursuing music degrees in
college. Sponsors of the event included: Goad Construction Company,
McCurdy and Ellis, The Kennedy Law Firm, Martin's Food Store, Music
Central, Rawlins Office Machines, Coca-Cola Bottling of Clarksville,
