RHS hosts District Basketball Tournament

Mr. Michael Tharpe, RHS Athletic Director, announced that Rossview High School will host the District 10AAA Basketball Tournament February 24 through 28, 2003. Following is the tournament schedule:

Girl's elimination games: Feb. 24 (first game starts at 4:30)

Boy's elimination games: Feb. 25 (first game starts at 4:30)

Girl's/Boy's semi-finals: Feb. 27 (first game starts at 4:00)

Girl's/Boy's consolation/championship games: Feb. 28 (first game starts at 4:00)

Tournament Seeding:

Monday/Tuesday (Feb. 24 & 25)

#2 seed vs. #7 seed

#3 seed vs. #6 seed

#4 seed vs. #5 seed

#1 seeded teams will receive a first round bye and will join the tournament on Thursday, Feb. 27.

Admission to all games is $5.00. No school system passes are eligible during District Tournament games.
