236 RHS students were honored for their academic achievements in
a program that featured the RHS Women's and Concert Choirs, under the
direction of Danny Chartrand. Special guests attending were Mayor
Johnny Piper, Commissioner Elizabeth Rankin, and CO Director of
Curriculum Sallie Keith. The Chamber of Commerce coordinates this
event twice a year to recognize Gold Card recipients (students who
receive all A's in the fall semester), Silver Card recipients (all
A's and B's), as well as Blue Cards for perfect attendance and no
grade lower than a "C". Cards entitle students to discounts at area
merchants participating in the program. The speaker was Ms. Patricia
Hanna, HR specialist with UPS, who sponsors the program. Following
