A forum for the creative minds and hearts of RHS students was
provided in the first ever ExpressO Cafe coffeehouse in the RHS
library on Tuesday evening. The performances varied from soul to
blues to country singers, Irish dancers, poets, a pianist, to
interpretive dramatists and storytellers. The stage lights and
equipment were provided by Mrs. Beach's RTV crew, and Tappy Tappscott
set up a great sound system! Mr. Syd Hedrick (Mr. Cool) was the M.C.
and kept the evening flowing with jokes and anecodotes that made a
perfect evening. Wonderful refreshments were offered by the Borders
Books cafe staff. Students and staff also contributed to transforming
the library into a 60's celebration, with lava lamps, bean-bag chairs
and disco lights. Thanks to all who participated - and watch for the
next Cafe in the fall!
