For our first half-day of school, several senior boys managed to
construct a petting zoo in the interior greenspace of RHS, complete
with goats and chickens to greet the students! The faculty and staff
welcomed students back in an assembly in the gym, with the JROTC
presenting the colors; SGA President Meredith Hausauer led the Pledge
of Allegiance and moment of silence; the dance team presented a short
routine; and the cheerleaders revved the crowd up for the football
jamboree tonight at Kenwood High School (RHS plays at 7 P.M.).
Students walked through their schedules for the remainder of the
half-day. Welcome back Hawks! Have a great year!
