Health Sciences classes hear medical speakers

Mr. Phil Fuqua, Director of Premier's Health Imaging Center, and Mr. Harry Imoto, Imaging Technologist, spoke to Ms. Linda Darnell's 1st and 2nd period Health Science classes. They discussed radiology and imaging of the body, and shared actual x-rays with the class. They also covered CT's, MRI's, and ultrasound technologies. Each discussed their educational path and rewards of their profession.

 

 

Ms. Beth Morgan, LPN, from the Surgical Department of Premier Health, spoke to the nursing class about nursing educational paths and details from her profession. She described her work responsibilities and educational requirements.
