The JROTC Hawk Battalion honored cadets and began a tradition of
concocting a symbolic punch to toast the achievements of the unit
throughout the year. Capt. Pat McNeill and SGM Terry O'Neill
coordinated the event with the assistance of the staff (J.W. Knapek,
commanding). Representatives of many community organizations, such as
Daughters of the American Revolution, the Order of the Purple Heart,
AUSA, SAR, TROA and others provided awards to the cadets who have
exhibited strong leadership, athletic and academic qualities as JROTC
cadets. Eric Wilson was promoted to Lt. Col. and named as next year's
