RHS Bands celebrate Music in our Schools Month with
concert

The Concert and Symphonic Bands of RHS delighted the audience
with a range of music, from march to classical to a heart-rending
version of the "Star-Spangled Banner" in honor of the band's family
members serving overseas currently! Jimmy Clark (Concert Band) was
recognized for earning an All-State Orchestra spot, and Laura Sikes
for earning all All-State Band seat. A trumpet trio (Erin McNeill,
Joey Ansberry, and James Linkous) was featured in a special selection
called "Triad". Hats off to director Tom Tapscott for a wonderful
contribution to the arts in our schools. The Spring Concert is
scheduled for May 12 - don't miss this opportunity to hear these
talented students and see their maestro in action! Following are
