The RHS student body rocked to the cheers of the cheerleaders,
the gyrations of the RHS Dance Team and the new dance group,
Clarksville's Finest, and to the beat of the band playing "Hey", in
an effort to encourage the basketball teams in their game with the
cross-town rival Clarksville High Wildcats tonight. The choir sang a
beautiful rendition of the National Anthem and Alma Mater, after
which the cheerleaders and dance teams took over. The RHS Wrestling
Team was featured and Coach Jason Harrison reminded the school that
the team will be competing in Mt. Joliet tonight, with the
opportunity to beat CHS there as well. Hawk took on Wildcat in a
one-on-one contest, and won with a little help from the boys'
basketball team to slam dunk the ball. Finally, teacher superlatives
were announced, as tabulated by the Sophomore Student Council. Good
luck tonight, Hawks!
