The RHS Concert Band wowed the audience again, with seven
stirring selections, including Estampie (McBeth), Courage at the Wall
of Fire (Melillo), King Cotton (Sousa), Space and Beyond (arr. Moss),
Into the Storm (Smith), Those Who Serve (arr. Melillo) in honor of
those fallen on 9/11 and those still fighting to protect U.S.
citizens, and Beyond the Higher Skies (Sheldon). Thank you for an
awesome performance, band members and director Tom Tapscott!
Laura Sikes was recognized for being the first RHS student to be
selected for All-State Band, held in Nashville this week.
