The RHS Hawk Battalion, accompanied by RHS
Concert Band and Choir, honored area veterans with a program that
included the history of each service, with their service flag posted,
and patriotic quotations from presidents from the past and present.
Whitney Carver sang "God Bless the USA" in a tribute to the late
school board member, David Cook. Veterans in the audience were
recognized as each service was called. CSM Arthur Jones was the guest
speaker, who encouraged the students to remember that "freedom isn't
